Bicycle speedometers which were made in 50-60s had a metal housing and a scale up to 60 km/h (or 40 mph). Speedometers from early 50s had a silver plated housing and they were prone to corrosion (so it’s hard to find them in good condition). Later in the end of 50s speedometers were different finished to increase their durability.

This speedometer is designed for bicycles with an auxilary engine (according to the text on the box). However, installation process is the same like others speedometers from this period.

Speedometer has a strong golden text on the dark dial.
